A MedVisit doctor will see a member of your family at home when you need a house call. MedVisit doctors visit patients of all ages for non-emergency medical problems.
Infants, children, teens, seniors and other adults are seen by one of our qualified doctors when you need a house call. Seniors and parents with young children have found our service particularly useful.
When you need a housecall you can call us directly at 416-631-3000. We are available to take your call from 8AM to Midnight, 7 days a week.
Patients with medical problems that may require emergency room diagnosis or treatment should be seen at the nearest emergency room.
The doctors visit is fully covered under your valid OHIP Health Card. you will be required to provide your Health Card number at the time of your call.
A MedVisit doctor will visit you on the date of your call. It is best to call early in the day (we open at 8 AM) to ensure that you get a housecall as we frequently receive more requests than we can accommodate.
The physician or the physician's assistant will call before coming. The doctor will provide you with a prescription if appropriate as well as a copy of the visit record upon request. The doctor may recommend followup with your family doctor, clinic or on occasion your local hospital.
